Ancestry.com new username feature

screen-shot-2017-02-09-at-9-46-48-amAncestry have a new feature whereby when you Search > Member Directory and then go to that person’s page, it will show you if that person has taken a DNA test and whether or not they match you. For example, my uncle is a match to this person and when I searched their username I found that I was not a match, but I could still access their public tree and explore how this person connects to my own family. Which, by the way, was a great find going back to MRCA in mid-1700s. This was particularly satisfying because of the difficulty in finding common ancestors who are in America.
