Higgs Bison Discovery

16-10-19_bisonRecent DNA investigations made by the team at the Adelaide Centre for Ancient DNA, in their search for evidence of the impact of climate change on animal populations, have revealed a previously unknown type of bison found in south-west France. Although it’s not related to genetic genealogy, I thought I’d post the article here because it is an interesting DNA detective story by Australian DNA scientists (and with all the science hype about the the Higgs boson, I just love the name “Higgs Bison”!)
